The ARTFELT WORKSHOP was a rousing success and everyone was dazzled at what they could do, inspired by Joanne Ellis from Skacel. Debra has made us some needle-felt trading cards and we will look for a class from her this fall to make ornaments and cards. The bead embellishment on the samples Joanne brought with her were brilliant. We now have our roving packaged in smaller amounts for easier purchasing. We will be ordering soon for more pencil roving if you are needing a certain color, we love to hear about your desires!
STORY HOUR has us hooked already. The City of Ember is under way and while Char Soucy is kind enough to come by to read to us, we will have to make due with a ghost reader for a week while she is elsewhere, fighting crime or some other superhero activity. Meet you at the shop Wednesday @5:30pm for our next installment.
Saturday the 19th of July Melody will be off at the Northwest Needlemarket in the big town of Tukwila, WA. We are hoping she sees something yummy for all the yarnivores at home. Until she returns, plan to drop in the shop to see the "Cats Away and Mice Will Play" sales.
